Production data should arrive
where decisions are made

Connect your industrial data base with MES, ERP, databases and cloud applications.

Local data acquisition remains of limited use if the information does not reach the existing business processes. At the same time, the place of operation and data access have to meet the company's requirements.

IQstruct Engineering connects databases, customer-specific endpoints and MES and ERP systems. Aurora can be operated locally, at the customer's site or in a German data centre. AWS and Microsoft Azure are among the intended cloud platforms; Google Cloud and Open Telekom Cloud complete the choice.

Start now at no cost

In a free first conversation we clarify which target systems expect the data, in which form and where it may reside.

Scope of services

Connect target systems by content

The information required determines which values are passed on.

Choose the place of operation for good reasons

Customer environment, data centre and cloud are weighed against data and operating requirements.

Keep supporting the connections

Monitoring, updates and support can be part of the order.

Bringing data into the business processes

IQstruct Engineering connects databases, customer-specific endpoints and MES and ERP systems.

For each connection, what counts is which data an operational process needs. Target, transmission path and operating responsibility are agreed together for this; a local visualisation can run in parallel.

Aurora can be operated locally, in the customer environment, in a German data centre or in the cloud. AWS and Microsoft Azure are among the intended platforms, Google Cloud and Open Telekom Cloud complete the choice. Which one fits follows from the customer environment and the requirements.

Approach in the project

  1. Three people discuss a hall layout at a table, an architecture diagram of the data acquisition on the screenAi

    1

    Record data requirements

Customer and specialists clarify which production data and information are needed.

  2. Two people install equipment in an open control cabinet beside a conveyor system in a production hallAi

    2

    Install edge technology

The device is installed on the production plant and connected.

  3. A technician configures the data path from the gateway to the cloud on the screen while a colleague takes notesAi

    3

    Configure the cloud connection

The connection to Azure IoT or AWS is set up with a traceable data path.

  4. Three people in a meeting room discuss a dashboard with power curves, energy balance and an asset tableAi

    4

    Check incoming energy data

Current values, timestamps and trends arrive in the dashboard and are checked.

Where Aurora can be operated

Locally and at the customer's site

On edge hardware or in the customer environment, close to the plant.

German data centre

In a secure data centre in Germany.

Cloud

In AWS or Microsoft Azure, alternatively in Google Cloud or Open Telekom Cloud.

Target systems and our own middleware

Aurora hands the acquired data over to the systems that use them in operation.

We agree individual ERP or MES products in the project.

Research

Synchronised data acquisition in DataSynch4BaSys

In the research project DataSynch4BaSys, the synchronised acquisition of industrial data was investigated and connected with an industrial IoT platform.

Lücking GmbH, IQstruct Engineering and Fraunhofer IESE took part. The research project stands alongside the energy data monitoring that IQstruct Engineering delivered for the same works.

Frequently asked questions

We are glad to answer your detailed questions in a personal conversation.

Is a particular cloud platform specified?

The platform depends on your environment and your requirements. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Open Telekom Cloud are possible options.

Which target systems do you connect?

MES and ERP systems, customer databases, customer-specific applications and other endpoints.

Can the data stay in Germany?

Yes. Aurora can be operated locally, in your environment or in a German data centre.
