Electrical design translates the process, the automation concept and the technical boundary conditions into documents for building and operating the plant.

The functional requirements of the machine, the operator's specifications and the applicable standards all have an influence, as does the specified automation platform. Added to this are the interfaces with PLC, robotics, safety technology and drives, space and heat in the control cabinet, as well as maintenance, the spare parts concept and later extensions.
