IQstruct Engineering plans and integrates networks in the IT and OT environment.

Layer 2 and layer 3 structures, VLANs, switching and routing are coordinated with the existing applications. Classic IT networks and industrial networks close to the machines are connected and segmented in one shared architecture.

New measuring points, servers or applications change communication paths. Network planning is therefore coordinated with the connected systems: switching and routing establish the connection, and segmentation limits it to suit the need. Firewalls, DMZ and allowlisting are planned together with security and operation.

A certified IT security auditor (TÜV) works in the team. Network planning and security are therefore run in the same project. Dependencies, access paths and affected applications are therefore reviewed together before a change. The agreed procedure includes a maintenance window, the functional test and a documented way back. Ongoing support keeps configurations and responsibilities current, so that later extensions stay traceable as well.
